Prototyping: Designing the Future of (Remote) Physical Therapy Tools

Exploring new ways to enhance healthcare delivery is becoming increasingly important. COVID-19 created an additional hurdle to accessing care, especially for an aging population and those with mobility challenges. This project focuses on addressing some of the unique needs of delivering physical therapy remotely. Utilizing Arduino robotics and Noodl prototyping software, we created a tangible user interface (TUI) that imagines how remote physical therapy could be provided in the near future.
